About Flourish

“In 2021, God led me to begin a summer women’s Bible study at my home. I loved the idea but didn’t want to lead. I’ve never liked talking in front of people - in fact I have avoided it as much as possible. My mom, however, has led women’s Bible studies for years, and since we live on the same driveway, I recruited her to lead. That was the first and last time I got out of leading that group. We have met off and on for most of the last 4 and half years and God has had me leading ever since.

Through that group, God opened my eyes to the need for community, deep connection, and true theological study for Christian women. He began laying the vision for Flourish Ministries on my heart and it has been a journey full of both goodness and wilderness.

In July 2023, I published my first book, Free Like Eden, and my second is now in the research stage. I plan to continue writing books for women, as well as Bible studies for women and children, as well as producing resources and content to help parents lay theological foundations in their children’s lives.

Each fall, Flourish holds a women’s retreat, for women of all ages and life stages. It allows us to take a break from normal and simply breathe as we sit in the presence of God. The retreat offers an opportunity to form community and connections with other local, Christian women, to be encouraged, and to draw closer to God. Sometimes, we just need a chance to get away and reset, and we want Flourish Women’s Retreat to be that for you.
