Brooke has been married to her husband, Jared, for 19 years and is a homeschooling mom of 5. She is a classic middle child, who doesn’t like coffee, loves to read, tries not to take life too seriously, prefers chucks and jeans over dresses, and is passionate about sharing Biblical truth. She was raised in North Carolina, on the same family land where she and Jared are raising their family. They have one dog, named Jovie, who showed up at their house, November 30, 2024 and never left! Brooke likes to say that Jovie adopted them.

In addition to Flourish, Brooke often leads local Bible studies, teaches at their homeschool co-op, and is working on her Master of Theological Studies at Liberty University. She plans to continue writing, as well as creating Bible studies and theological resources for women and children.

Brooke created Flourish as an answer to the needs she was seeing in women around her. Her heart is for Flourish to be a place where woman can find truth, connection, encouragement, and the hope of Jesus.
